Tour Links and Us

We love the Tour Links putting greens we use in our clinics, and so do our clients.  Easy to assemble, rugged and good looking (kind of like me) they are great for practice and entertainment.  The one we use fits nicely in a spare room or an office (what a great way to spice up the reception area!).  We use them in our junior clinics at the end of the putting section.   If you do not want to buy one (they are available in a range of sizes and prices) weL4x10_putting_green can provide one for your special event.  We have set them up at corporate events where the hosts have offered prizes for sinking a putt or just wanted to entertain the troops on a Friday afternoon. They are great for graduation parties (I have attended 12 so far this year) and open houses.

Because a number of clients asked us where they could get one we have arranged to offer them for sale to clients and visitors.  Email or call and we will help you pick one out.  We plan to offer sales on line soon.

Murphy has it going on.

Not wanting to turn this into too much of a fashion site I wanted to follow up on my brother's post about golf, colors, and short skirts.  Our friend Murphy has it right.  Golf is supposed to be fun, Discoblack_2_3 and shades of brown and pleated Bermuda shorts don't get it done.  Guys, guys, guys; Paula, Michelle, Natalie, and Lorena have beautiful swings and they bring a lot of color to the game.  Even Sports Illustrated seems to be wondering how short Michell will go.  Fellas, splurge on some MyJoys; and pick up some flashy slacks from LoudMouth Golf;  Not only will you liven up the game, these outfits are good for at least a stroke or two in any match.  For a real edge, try a kilt form SportKilts.  Believe me, your opponents will be impressed and distracted, especially if the wind is blowing.1_2_2 Come on life is not khaki-colored; live it up and liven it up a little.

A season for everything

Factgraph1004_1True to form, just when some of us thought winter had breathed its last gasp (after weeks of single digit temps and way-below freezing wind chills) Ol' Man W returned with plenty of spunk here in the Heartland, home to SwingStation Midwest.  I have been enjoying our new TourLinks putting green.  Set it up in a guest room; the Golf_school_016 missus would like it in the basement but then we'd have to move the drums.  After watching Lefty and Jeff Ogilvy miss a couple of short ones lately; I'm thinking now is a good time for me to try to groove the flatstick stroke.  Even better, Junior will join me for a little father/son time. And I won't begrudge Mother Nature and her beau, Mr. Winter, having their way again.
